The point is Beyoncé had the 4th most popular song on release, despite being a surprise Sunday night release (and the fact she dropped two singles meaning the hive were splitting their streams across Texas and 16C. Gaga has the 12th most popular song of the day despite weeks of teasing and a Friday release, when all her fans had to do was stream the ONE song.  85k difference or not, why are there 11 songs more popular than Gaga's hyped comeback?

Cause the competition is stronger?  That isn't exactly THE's achievement, it just means that if this single would've been released in that climate, it would've been the #4 most popular song ceteris paribus

Didn't she release a HBO tour video with LG7 being teased at the end?

Didn't she performed at the Olympics and blasting teasers out of her hotel (as a Parisian it was everywhere)?

Didn't she teased the new era for months on ig with her taking pictures at the studio and doing promo pictures taking and being praised for "having the old Gaga back"?

 

Sure she didn't buy billboards everywhere to promote the song and the MV isn't out yet, but saying no promo was made is a bit of a strech.
