why is the GP not clicking with the Hold My Hand (From "Top Gun: Maverick") singer?

I expected a 400k Halloween boost. Can't believe it only got 82k. It's better than losing I guess, but the tasteless GP is obviously rejecting this song no matter what

This is The Weeknds 3rd song, second with a feature mind you and again similar numbers to Disease but hes not over and yet Gaga somehow is? OGHs are struggling bad and it reeks of misogyny. Gaga is doing what she wants and doing relatively well with Disease and smashing with DWAS at the same time. Gaga is also about to be top 5 on BBs greatest pop stars of the 20th century list also mind you so I see why some are very pressed.

Gaga is one of Interscopes biggest artists, ofc they would invest in her? She has the 2nd biggest song in the world rn and arguably the biggest song of the year. Is currently 9th most streamed artist, shes no d list and won't be getting that treatment since anything they invest into her career would come back in spades when she tours.

 

Also everything you listed had nothing to do with Interscope Harlequin was released under Gaga not Interscope and her acting career has nothing to do with her music career.

Well in this case it actually applies since obviously halloween songs got a boost today and Diseases streams actually increased - its not like I just pulled that out of nowhere.

it held up well today, i don't think it's halloween impact because it's a recent song tbh, probably it's going to stabilize on +2m for a while
