Even if Disease has a poor chart debut and plummets into obscurity… it was always going to be a gamble releasing a song like that and Interscope/Gaga knew it. That's probably why Die With A Smile was released when it was… that song had a significantly better chance of becoming a hit and luckily for Bruno and Gaga that ended up happening.

 

Sure, they could have gone for a big, splashy cookie cutter pop song with a trendy feature or she could have done a Shallow 2.0 but she chose to give the fans what they'd been asking for since 2014. I can't really be mad at her for that.

 

If nothing else sticks I would assume Die With A Smile will be added as a bonus track to the forthcoming album… do it Stefani, let us claim it was the real lead single.

When an artist don't appear for the whole first part of a song they cannot be considered the reason why it's a smash. It's clearly Bruno's song and everyone knows it.

well it's no news that Katy truly has one of the best videographies among pop girls and she's been way more consistent at quality MVs in every era than miss Gar, but I'd suggest that liddo to be on topic for his own sake.
