Mamma calm down :rip:

Monsters are not a monolith, I'm not a spokesman for the fanbase… every single base here has bad actors that come across as obnoxious and annoying. These traits are not exclusive to those that enjoy Gaga's music. Just go look at the swifties, barbz or the hive if you want insight into highly toxic/volatile fan behaviour.

Gaga often flops. I'm used to it - most of the songs in the list I provided didn't really do that much on the charts and that's fine. I'm really not trying to pretend otherwise… :rip:

Sometimes she wins, sometimes she loses… but success isn't the reason why most of us are ride or die for her - if that were the case we'd have abandoned ship after Artpop… (which was over ten years ago at this point).

Whether you like or not, she's amassed a very loyal (and very large) fanbase that will support her for the rest of her career… and that kind of success is extremely valuable in today's age where monoculture is very, very dead.

Ok fair enough. Thank you for giving me a real answer :clap3:

And i know Gaga has a loyal fanbase, i never pretended otherwise. I was just saying that she isn't the beginning and end of pop culture like many Monsters pretend she is, that's all.

Um, that video…

If there was a storyline it didn't make any sense. The looks weren't particularly great. It won't catch on with the GP as it's too dark. A mess. It reminds me of John Wayne, just chaotic for the sake of being chaotic.

Out of the two videos the DWAS live video actually was more entertaining to me. :deadbanana2:  #ThankYouBruno

This is pretty much most Gaga videos in a nutshell. None of her videos for The Fame Monster made any sense, especially in the context of the songs. They were at least entertaining back then but her videos rarely made any sense, we were just supposed to believe it was "genius" because the media said so :rip:

We need to add something new to the wheel.

"She's not chasing trends and never has been"... Check it out in the other thread.

Put it on the wheel. Please.

I can't take the signals that Gaga and Katy are leveled in the same spot .

Disease is doing "better"  than woman's world solely thanks to #10 on today's top hit, while we didn't have it. Also is having more radio support.

I can prove it by comparing happy mistake and lifetimes, both singles with no radio support, it seems like without a at least top 35 spot on tths she can't debut in top 200 as Happy mistake sitting at 41 didn't debut, while Lifetimes without any tths position debuted , "Oh you're forgetting lifetimes music video" don't you come with that poor argument, music video isn't better than a #41 in tths.

While her collaborations, Gaga's is with a hitmaker that never flopped and got a bigger hit than the very DWAS, while Katy is with a black rapper woman that didn't have a hit never.

So I really can't see the difference between them.

The difference is that Gaga's song is actually listenable. Hope this helps!

Or because at the same exactly time she released her pop video clip and the live video is from his residency maybe?

oh I see the brave bus rolled in on page 108 :jonnyknife:

this is why this thread will not die, and really yes, the video is a random abysmal attempt to recapture what great ideas she once had, actually just disappointing and clearly rushed, it's total cosplay, bah! :dancehall2:
