With the album being 4 months away (stupid idea) she must have been expecting this song to be such a smash that it would keep the momentum going until awards season. :deadbanana4: She gotta rush release the second single asap.

if anything it's a blessing imo, relaunch the era in january akin to the ROM release for Chromatica. It's not like she can lose more hype than what she has now

Can Netflix release Wednesday next season already? We need another viral.

I'm drunk right now sorry for that, it doesn't change the fact that Lady Gaga can't have a solohit.

Makes sense. Happy drunk hour!

Btw DWAS is projected to hit #1 in the next week. You better do everything in your power to not stream the song as to no contribute to its chart performance!

IF that's going to be the case, that's another #1 to Gaga's credit, which is difficult to get, not everybody has that! But yes, it's not Gaga's #1 hit like you said!

The funny thing is she has

... more streams on first day

... more views on first day

... a billboard #1

... doubled first week streams

... in comparison to.... another.... singer :skeleton:

I see why you are seething.

Let's pretend that Always Remember Us This Way doesn't have more certifications than any of Rihanna's recent singles

2022

Lift Me Up (Top 5 in the US and UK) ~2 million copies sold

Hold My Hand (Top 50 in the US and Top 30 in UK) ~1 million copies sold

I wonder what happened?

I think they're just gonna be relying on DWAS and putting it on the album :deadbanana2:

Her last 2 bombs were added to TTH and both proved to fail, so I'm curious if Interscope continues to waste their money on her solo music :deadbanana:

The MV wasn't even out for this update, apart from a few countries where it was out for like... 4 hours. :rip: Just loud and dumb.

It's insane how the playlisting keeps growing and the song keeps plummeting :deadbanana2:

I have a feeling y'all overestimate playlisting's effect. After a while the incremental changes are only contributing to marginal streams. TTH etc helps definitely, but random playlists with less following/listeners won't really contribute that much, even if they command a great aggregate value in the reach

I like DWAS, is Bruno in his essence so of course it's a BOP, we can't say the same about HAPPY MISTAKE or DISEASE.

I'm not surprised it isn't taking off with the GP. It just sounds like a bunch of electronic noise. I don't hate the song, but I don't love it either. It is not one of Gaga's best, but I don't think it means she is over. Every time people count her out, she comes out with one of the biggest hits of her career. That's the best thing about her is she's so unpredictable. You never know if she's going to release a dud or go straight to #1. It always has the potential be either one.

Or her team wanted to release 2nd and 3rd singles because doing so after the album drop doesn't make sense in the streaming era?
