Cannon Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I like her charisma. I feel like people hate on her over the most minuscule stuff
Relampago. Posted October 27 Posted October 27 She reminds me of myself in some ways and I respect that I mean, we just had a viral tweet of Tom Holland pushing paps around for Zendaya, what's wrong with Chappell sticking up for herself?
Soda Pop Queen Posted October 27 Posted October 27 lol I love it. Make it a performance art Chappell!
hypnodemiluv Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Go Chappell fight for yourself! And make whiny ghays that all preach postivity and no-hate but still hates Chappell actually doing something that matters (to her)!
blackoutbaby Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I don't see the issue with this. If someone was rude to her, she should be allowed to say something. 1

If that was the case she would have skipped red carpet altogether. She's not lashing out on all the photographers here but she's singling out someone who treated her rudely at another event and you can clearly hear her say that to him. 6

The way ATRL has a hate boner for artists that don't pander to them This forum has been hating on Chappell a lil too much tbh. 4
Reginald Posted October 27 Posted October 27 This persona is lowkey off-putting, combative, and unlikeable, but at least she looks snatched. I LOVE her visual style 1
sweetkiss Posted October 27 Posted October 27 criticism towards this is 100% misogyny, women have every right to hold their boundaries and remember who disrespected them and tell them whats up few months later or years later. you dont get to police reaction to disrespect. 6 1 10
Bubble Tea Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Absolutely love that she does this. Too many of you gays are so jealous of these female pop stars that you think they deserve to go through HELL because they're rich and famous and that it's fair and just, when actually it's ridiculous and you should never treat another human disrespectfully. Love that Chappel refuses to take any ****! 5 1
Vertigo Stick Posted October 27 Posted October 27 I've been stanning powerful women my entire life and I recognize a baddie when I see one She's right to set the tone now. So strong 2
ChrisTheLoner Posted October 27 Posted October 27 (edited) Ngl she ATE this, she was clearly just standing up for herself to a rude photographer Edited October 27 by ChrisTheLoner 2

UhOh Posted October 28 Posted October 28 some of y'all in here would do much more over 5¢ change at the bodega you are not the same anyway, love her as a person—wish I could get into her music more 1 1
Dante Silva Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I'm conflicted about these traits of hers that are coming to the foreground. In another time and place her behaviour would be considered "Punk" in both tone and attitude. At times I want to cringe with second hand embarrassment for her and at others I admire her feisty spirit. What I can't work out is if it's prima-donna behaviour coming from a place of ego? Or if she legitimately feels she has morals and is calling immoral conduct out. Either way, I'm not quite sure where she is going with this. 1

The first time it was commendable but now it's looking unprofessional. Even if she's fully justified this is not a good look for her. 2

Funnyfatty Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I still look at this interview everyday like its so passive aggressive, messy, funny, entitled. And that clown make up, her licking her lips, walking with her **** out towards him forgetting that she should be posing she is my favourite clown 2
no_better Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I love Chappell and to me she hasn't done anything wrong once. So interesting to see many progressives call her 'entitled' and 'uncut for fame' just because she is doing something against the status quo and challenging social norms that are harmful to so many people beyond just herself 1
