knewbetterpt2 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 If it isn't out this Friday she's probably waiting to release in January bc the Christmas song takeover is already starting to brew and the charts will start being infiltrated in the upcoming weeks. I've been hammering this song all day tho, the YouTube link still works for me. And I bet when the studio version does drop the naysayers in here will be getting their life, line dancing boots down to it. The girls that get it….

She hasn't cared about the charts before why start now? Performing a new song on a slot as big as SNL only to not release it until months later just wouldn't make any sense on a commercial level either

Performing a new song on a slot as big as SNL only to not release it until months later just wouldn't make any sense on a commercial level either True but if you think about it it'd only be an 8 week wait until 2025 which isn't long on paper. However, in stan speak it can feel like months and years lol. Her choice of doing Pink Pony Club first felt like she was tying a ribbon on the Midwest era and kick starting the next one officially during her second performance. She has been dominating 2024 so I can see her wanting to wait for a clean slate in the new year to really set the tone and scene for CR2. She's been dangling 'The Subway' in front of us for months and never put it out so I'm not putting it completely past her to do it with 'The Giver' is all. Not pinning my wait prediction solely on charts but I know singles/albums do tend to get lost in the holiday shuffle when they're released this time of year. Whenever she decides to bless us with it I will be ready with my fork and knife at the dinner table! 1
Eóghan Posted November 3 Posted November 3 why did they rove the SNL performance? her team is so messy
Billionaire Posted November 3 Posted November 3 International audiences will probably give this a big resounding NO but I can see it do well in the US. I kinda wish I liked the song as much as I did the performance, I think I much prefer that Subway song
kellebrity98 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 well her please please please is here, babes. get that number one miss girl

djcalpal Posted November 3 Posted November 3 It's just so good... she never fails to switch it up and master whatever genre she tackles.
Ivan_brit Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Best Female Single of The Year ROUND 10 / Top 45! Pink Pony, Hot To Go & Good Luck Babe still surviving, Competition is getting more difficult every round VOTE HERE: Good Luck to Chappell could she win this year?
CottageHore Posted November 4 Posted November 4 This just gets better with every listen and the lyrics are SUPERB. So silly but boundary pushing yet non-offensive for some reason. This is gonna SMASH if they'd hurry tf up and drop it 1

Bamboo Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I do not love this but I'm gonna chalk it up to SNL having horrible acoustics and making it really difficult to hear the song as it was intended
vuelve88 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 It's okay. Sounds like something that would play at Applebee's. 1

EnigmaticAndroid Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Some of y'all are on crack, this is fantastic. I'd be shocked if it doesn't smash in America. Watch and trust hennies. 1
ImpressMeMuch Posted November 4 Posted November 4 (edited) MAKE COUNTRY GAY WE LOVE TO SEE IT also these performances clicked in my brain that I should treat her just like any other drag queen - where there's a 50% off their out of drag self is an absolute mess but you put it aside to appreciate their character. I'll be doing that with her moving forward lol. Edited November 4 by ImpressMeMuch 1
