Glenn has been trying to get this movie made for years. She has stated many times that they're trying to find the right team and then they have to get financing. 
 

This role is to be a career defining one and is supposed to finally get her that long overdue Oscar. 

 

Now here comes Nicole getting universal praise for her turn as Norma Desmond. The show itself is also being praised for the direction and production. 
 

Is Nicole set to snatch the movie role from Glenn? Hollywood is unkind to aging legends. I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be force Glenn to give up the role, give it to Nicole and strike while the iron is hot.
