Alfred Bulgakov Posted October 27 Posted October 27 i suspected she might have been trapped under Luke even before Republic deal since 2022. she posted stories about feeling down and unsure about her career, then deleted them and denied everything. this is just too similar to what Kesha and Doja experienced. even though she is not an angel, i hope she gets her freedom from that horrible man. 8 1

All of the other artists tied to Luke by nefarious contracts have always had humility regarding their situation, and a sense of awareness. Kim on the other hand has doubled down on this not being the case, and implied that other women were lying. By all means if it isn't your own experience say so, but don't imply someone else is lying. It's also not lost on me how this comes at a time a certain woman is winning and a certain producer is bombing. 12 2

She has gone back to him and worked with him willingly time and time again, even though he had no involvement in her only hit. It's beyond pathetic, especially with her doubling down and insinuating that Kesha lied when she got called out during the Bloom tour drama. If anything, she's most likely complaining about her deal with Republic, which was an incredibly stupid move on her part. 1 1

The concept of a transwoman being succesful was/is scary for many, so I could imagine how hard that must've been for Kim to find a 'base' when she moved to the US. She probably was so excited when Dr Puke wanted to work with her due to his succes with Katy. Maybe she didn't even realize what kind of monster he is at the time? I'm not sure when she started working with him? 5

I'm not sure when she started working with him? She started working with him at the height of his court war with Kesha when the allegations had been fully out for years though. She released I Don't Want It At All August 2017, Kesha called Luke out sometime in 2014. She knew. And on top of that, she couldn't just keep a neutral stance while being in this awkward situation - which would still be bad - but she had to go and obnoxiously kiss his ass in public while making sure to insinuate that Kesha was a liar. 2 7

The problems started when she signed with them. The delays in the album release plus her having less creative control which led to Problematique being a side project rather than the actual album. It's clear that Republic won't let her release music until she presents something that is a hit in their eyes plus she won't get another project out without a hit. 1
