Disease Erases post ARTPOP GaGa

Except DWAS as that's one of her best songs but honestly Disease is the perfect continuation from ARTPOP (her best album :sorry:). Disease is like an amalgamation of her first 3 album. :gaygacat5: I'm so ready for this album. I was not ready for this song.

Like it or not, Chromatica is part of her dance pop canon and "Rain On Me" is one of her iconic dance hits, the truth will not be denied!

Not Disease making me totally forget Chromatica was even a thing until you brought it up :gaycat6: rain on me really was a bop tho:gaygacat2:

It feels a lot like Born this way but more polished.

"Polished" is a bit much, no shade. It sounds like a solid track from BTW that had single potential (In the way bloody may did)

It definitely has loud production but it doesn't sound as messy/tinny as BTW did. I definitely think it's better production than BTW for sure.

also where did this Chromatica hate wave come from?

Chromatica (whilst flawed) is an essential part of her discography. But it's going to feel very diluted in comparison to what's going to come with LG7…

I don't understand why people hate on 'Chromatica' that much. It is a very decent pop album.

I loved it when it came out and then ATRL ruined it for me lol

I think it definitely holds up to the best of both Chromatica and Joanne - Rain On Me, Babylon, Million Reasons

I'll need more time with it to see if it surpasses these songs but yeah it's just really great

Chromatica only gets hate from corny online stans. Critics and everyone else in the real world thought it was a good album.

It has the darkness and roughness of BTW with the EDM-beats of ARTPOP, something she has never successfully been able to execute until now :clap3:

I agree 100%. She did it :clap3:

Disease is like if she actually was brave enough to make Replay or 911 singles….

ARTPOP being "her best album" as if it's anywhere near the quality that TFM and BTW have...

First, let me congratulate you on your good taste, as I'm another ARTPOP inconditional STAN

But let's not erase Chromatica so quickly. Disease is a HUGE step on the right direction, and I have the feeling LG7 will be an all-time fave for fans and get revisited like BTW is being. But Chromatica is solid, so we'll have to wait.

The only solid thing on Chromatica is the transition from Chromatica II to 911.

I'm ready to call LG7 the proper LG5. :jonny:
Just Dance - Bad Romance - Born This Way - Applause - Disease = One of the best lead single runs :jonny:

Each Gaga project is beautiful in its own way. Disease doesn't erase the class of Cheek to Cheek, the soul of Joanne, the passion of A Star Is Born, the heights of Chromatica, the quality of Cheek to Cheek, or the fondness of Harlequin. Disease is just another excellent Lady Gaga project.

It doesn't erase anything. Gaga just continues to evolve and learn lessons about what worked on past projects and what didn't.
