Ethereaaal Posted October 22 Posted October 22 What is ATRL's obsession with discrediting artists in a collab? Both contributed to the song's success, and they both deserve to be credited for it equally. Rose seems to be the most musically inclined from the group, happy for her! 8

Many members on here will do anything to undermine female artists to fulfill their superiority complex and sexist standards.
VelvetCrush Posted October 22 Posted October 22 It's both an achievement for both of them. Honestly it's such a perfect duet that fit both of them and was made by both of them so it would be weird to discredit one saying the other helped more. 3

nhatpb Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Kpop stans are streaming power force so imo, thanks to Rose's ha power, Kpop stan and Bruno Mars too. He is having a hit DWAS that currently have strong daily streaming number. it is magnet to attract audience curious his 2nd single.
Arthoe Posted October 22 Posted October 22 OGH's are really brave, trying to make actual enemies with Blinks, just for a quick Lady Gaga drag.
Alldeezy Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I don't think so tbh rose could of done it the songs a bop
naomi24 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 He definitely helped her but at the same time the song went mega viral in Asia specifically because of him collabing with Rosé. So her star power and fandom in Asia also helped create the hyper around the release. I doubt it would be topping Korean charts if it was a Bruno solo.
Selenasworld Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I mens yeah she doesn't has the biggest fanbase compared to the other members and Bruno comes from a smash or it's maybe just streaming farms idk
diemoehre Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Of course he helped. He was involved in songwriting and production. Rose also hadn't really broken into the north american market before. So the success in that area is definitely due to his influence. But it is her song as well, she wrote on it. And it wouldn't be a hit in Korea if it weren't for her. They both contributed to this song and its success in different areas. And I'm glad they did, it's an excellent collaboration and they sound great together.
cat1867 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 collabs get their intial hybe based on the fascination of two different artists collabling with each other. bruno being such an traditional american hit maker collabing with rose was a cool idea that got people primed to like the song. the song actually being catchy and good is what is sustaining it else wise it would just another overhyped collab song that sank.
Titanbaddie Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Bruno is a huge streaming force and an established act who increases the streaming numbers and popularity of songs he's on. A good example is DWAS which he has basically carried on his shoulders because the person he collaborated with isn't very popular anymore.
