Baby Judas Posted October 23 Posted October 23 oh the girls are fighting already. such a diseased behavior. 7
Mariah4life Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) Disease is like Born This Way, a song dedicated to her gay fans. Oh we are so back Edited October 23 by Mariah4life 2
Danny1021 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Anyone i said the true T, cause it's true, but im excited for Gaga's new release.
Popular Post Uncatena Posted October 23 Popular Post Posted October 23 Reminder that Mr.S said that this reminded him of GH/Scheiße, not that it sounded like it. I think that's a big difference and anyone expecting something as gritty as that could be disappointed. Especially since this is the lead single, even if it's DarkGa and the GP is more open to that than ever, it's still probably one of the more "safer" songs on LG7. 13 3

"Your pulse is racing can't you see? "I'm the cure, you're the need." She later adds: "I could play the doctor. "I can cure your disease." Source What is this photo from?:

Stupid Love is very reminiscent to BTW/FOHL in its vibe 2 1
Anthinos Posted October 23 Posted October 23 47 minutes ago, Archetype said: I normally wouldn't care, but if this is truly her last big pop era before she starts a family and does more films for many years, I sort of want her to go all out and play the game as much as possible. It's going to be much harder for her to score big numbers in her mid to late 40's sadly, and I think she knows that. I don't think it's her last big pop era. Even if she starts a family, she can still be a pop star. So are Beyonce and Katy. So was Madonna. And how her career in Hollywood will continue is also questionable. Personally, I don't think LG7 is the end for now. There were almost 5 years between LG6 and 7. 5 years is enough time. She should concentrate on her fans and her music. She has achieved enough. I think everything is okay as long as her career doesn't completely collapse, which it won't. She has a lot of fans and is a pop legend. She will always be successful to a certain extent. 2 2
CottageHore Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) Not sure I'm loving those lyrics but she's never been a lyricist. Hopefully the beat SMACKS and the melody HITS Edited October 23 by CottageHore

GagaMegaFan Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I was watching shorts and Bloody Mary and ARUTW came BACK TO BACK and one had 37 million views and other had 7 millions. Oh the demand
Revel Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) The stakes couldn't be higher with this release . I know I drag on Gaga's wig a bit from time to time. But I'm happy for y'all that she's apparently returning to form with a dark pop song inspired by the Born This Way album.Nostalgia is in nowadays so that might be in y'all Liddos favour . Almighty Gaga Posted October 23 Posted October 23 2 hours ago, CottageHore said: Why are y'all soooo obsessed with the charts like let's unpack that. If Gaga doesn't care about the "Christmas freeze!!!" or "Joker flopped!!!" why do you? We're finally get new music and it sounds like music we've been wanting for over a decade can we please just be happy LORDDD You'll be getting similar material in the future if this proves successful. It's in your best interest. Success is a message for the artist about what people want or don't want Similar to how Gaga's HAC material has resonated since Million Reasons, so she's been releasing more of that sound. 1 1
HonourableVomit Posted October 23 Posted October 23 8 hours ago, TeemoR said: Remember that we were told Judas is Bad Romance 2.0 (which is somewhat true) and then that was a disaster for the BTW era (although I know that it is pop excellence and now serving longevity). Judas is a fantastic song, even if clearly an attempt to remake BR structurally. The disaster of it commercially was really a mix of the Easter release thing, people being put off by BTW (single and video) and the tide overall turning against the maximalism/"weirdness" that she'd become synonymous with, this is exactly the moment Adele was rising meteorically following Someone Like You at the Brit Awards. Edge of Glory probably actually benefitted from having a no frills video that didn't put people off, in hindsight, maybe she had the right idea. 2
shimind Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Even if the song starts slow on the charts we can be sure it will do well on tik tok and will eventually continue to rise. but honestly I want it to hit #1 so we can end those last solo #1 in 2011 drags. It's so annoying. I hope it's a major smash with massive longevity 3
Hex Posted October 23 Posted October 23 People caring about charts in the year of 2024 is still wild to me... just enjoy the music. It's not like she's a small artist who needs to "make it big" enough to keep making music. 5
