redsbae Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Gaga's team wasn't expecting this rollout. Joker 2 was supposed to be at about 600 million grossing by now, the Bruno mars collab smashing, and critics praising her performance in the film. Unfortunately the film flopped and set her back… way back. Here are my predictions album- 170k first week and eventually gold (with a lot of payola and strings pulled). Sorry Gaga. just think it's best to be a legacy act at this point. 2 9

JennyWayne Posted October 26 Posted October 26 It's still getting better with every listen. The pre-chorus alone clears Stupid Larva in its entirety

I really don't get why people on ATRL keep on saying this because outside the bubble of this website and a few comic book fans who hate all women, Gaga has barely got any blowback from Joker 2's performance. Joker 2 bombed, but the Bruno song is a smash and her performance was praised by critics. Even without this album, she could sell out stadiums in most countries. She will be fine. 1

Gaga is still a talent but I feel she's lost her passion for pop and dance music. Her efforts feel lost. Where she used to create the trends, it seems she's trying desperately to find her place. 4

It's just my opinion. The song will underperform. The second single will be a collab with popular artist (to give her a boost as her solo efforts fail) and the album will … well you'll see. Being delusional doesn't change what's inevitable. 3

Twiddle her thumbs? Madonna has been a legacy act since 2005, and her highest grossing tours are linked to albums such as Hard Candy, MDNA, Rebel Heart and Finally Enough Love (the remix album). 4 minutes ago, redsbae said: But when the material isn't well received, innovative, fresh, or fun… maybe so? Madonna has not been a legacy act since 2005, Hard Candy was a major MPG album and MDNA moreso with superbowl and pushing Gimmie all your luvin even 2015 Madonna promoted rebel heart like crazy 1
ronelmaano13 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 If this underperforms, its the fourth in a row for her this year. I hope this would be successful for her. She needs it. 1
perfectillusion204 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I actually think they are hoping DWAS will hit #1 next week because the vinyl has shipped and everyone will receive it this upcoming week. I think video is gonna come on Fri. Nov 1 at this point, to not interfere with DWAS.

Just wait for the Spotify and Apple Music numbers. Without a major collab or payola, Gaga really isn't able to deliver a "smash" 10
