Doctor Dick Posted October 25 Posted October 25 9 minutes ago, ToraeGilt said: I hope the monsters don't have the expectation that this might debut as high as SL. Remember stupid love had cd bundles etc which significantly helped its numbers. I don't think Stupid Love had any CD bundles back then. And definitely no 'etc' as it didn't have any remixes and wasn't even discounted. I think you're confusing it with the parent album Chromatica.
Wewee Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Guys just to know where did woman's world peaked on AM first day in the US/UK and Australia ? 2
Fayik Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Just watched a clip of her interview saying how she sang differently on this new album and I can kind of already hear it on this track. It's definitely more powerful and passionate than I've heard her in a while and I feel like the album is just going to go even deeper! 4

Lady Claire Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I know taste is subjective but i don't understand fans (or people who likes Gaga in general) that disliked this. It has a dark vibe, a big chorus and a huge electronic pop production... literally everything that made Gaga, Gaga What's not to like? For me is her best lead single since Bad Romance and her most infectious chorus since Applause. She got a big one and i can also see becoming a hit, with the right moves and playlisting. I'm so excited for the album 7
elvenOCEAN Posted October 26 Posted October 26 The nerve of some people in here to even insinuate this is up there with or, mind you, "better" than Born This Way, a.k.a. the definitive Gaga single… 2 1 2

Midnightsun Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Was unsure at first, but this is definitely a huge grower for me. Loving it!

Edit: As you can see by the downvotes on my initial post. 4 hours ago, Lyrical. said: Y'all are toxic as hell lmao. I actually like Gaga, too bad her fans consist of unhinged people like you… always resorting to personal attacks and name calling, which is against ATRL's rules Are we just ignoring the last decade of you being an OGH or You literally made Ryan post "Lyrical girl stay OUT of gaga threads" like 8 years ago because your trolling was so persistent 1 3 7

State of Grace. Posted October 26 Posted October 26 It's no Bad Romance/Perfect Illusion but it's great. A solid 8 I guess? At first I was like "okay...good" but then the last minute came on and slapped me. The production is immaculate. It's kinda how I imagined Chromatica would sound like when we were getting studio pics with Boys Noize nn. Her vocal performance is, unsurprisingly, amazing. The demonic adlibs, the screeches, and her growl at the end of the bridge into the last chorus are what sold it for me. The Born This Way references were accurate, but this is way more polished and would not fit on that album. It feels like quintessential Gaga without retreading old ground to me. It's definitely not reinventing the wheel or pushing her into new territory, but it's digestible/catchy enough and could work as a good reintroduction to the sound that made her popular. I'm more intrigued about Notorious Being, Abracadabra, Mustang (if it's real), and the rest of the album though. Where is the MV though? This is the kind of a song that needs a visual and I think it could elevate it more. Also, it's most likely part of the marketing strategy, but she/her team are weirdly absent this era? Drop the YT countdown maam. 2
Edonis Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I've had several irl good judy's of mine praise this track and they don't care for GarGar at all so...could be a smash in the making 1
Vroom Vroom Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I'm still losing my mind. It's insane. I can't believe she made a song like that. A master piece like Bad Romance
