Sonny Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) The piano(?) in the bridge actually reminds me of Closer by Nine Inch Nails. Edited October 25 by Sonny
Infernal Paradise Posted October 25 Posted October 25 NOBODY writes a catchy hook and an infectious as hell melody quite like her. She's just UNMATCHED. 8 3
GotMyBlueprint Posted October 25 Posted October 25 On first listen it sounds a little noisy and muffled? Especially during the chorus. Way better than Stupid FLoPve, though.

EndofASadMovie Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Maybe it's the artpop stan in me speaking but doesn't it sound more artpop than BTW. Like it would've fit right in the artpop tracklist especially the production 2
Mikeymoonshine Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I agree that this wouldn't fit on Born This Way even though the production is very Born This Way she just didn't write songs this way back then. It goes a lot harder than anything she released back then. That's not a positive or a negitive it's just different. It's kind of like Replay with BTW production.

Mark Rih Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I don't like her vocals but that's very common for me in relation to a Gaga song. The sound is quite promising for the album tho.

Abracadabra Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Having the biggest hit of the year and still deciding to serve this hard she's insane 2

GotMyBlueprint Posted October 25 Posted October 25 ARTPOP leftovers >>> Joanne and Chromatica.. kind of excited to see how an album might turn out if she's done with the Hollywood sidequests
Relampago. Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) This is pretty easily one of her best songs since… idk. 911? But even then it just hits harder than everything on Chromatica and doesn't sound as cheap as that album did. The production is rich and full, it's reminiscent of older Gaga but doesn't sound redundant or been-there-done-that. It's fresh and new but still signature Gaga. Like I said, it doesn't scream SMASH to me, but that's not a bad thing. Die With A Smile was the smasha, this sounds like a return to form with Gaga who's not chasing charts after nearly 2 decades of success, it's just her finding herself again and doing what she does best: make great pop music. On first listen I liked it, on second listen I loved it, and now it's stuck on repeat. I kinda didn't expect to be slayed how I currently am, but I'm grateful that I was! Mr. Mendes Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I'm so beyond floored. I didn't think she had this in her anymore. Wow. Just...wow. This is the best song she's released in years.
Monky_2405 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Ok, this is not Scheibe at all but it's fine! She already hard her peak and it was epic, so it's fine! It's an earworm, not her best (and not really radio friendly) but a new Gaga era is always exciting!! Also..where's the mv? This is the kind of song that a MV can really help
