That lower key she is singing under the main vocal bothers me for some reason. For me it's the other way around I wish those were the lead vocals and the higher key vox were in the background
Sannie Posted October 25 Posted October 25 The immediate acclaim from everyone except the haters/stans of others. Whewwwwwww, that's when you know it's good. In hindsight, the exact opposite happening with Womans' World was insane. 3 1 4
DiabeticGrandpa Posted October 25 Posted October 25 It's giving womans world lyrics but the production is lit. #ThankyouCirkut 1

nostalgic Posted October 25 Posted October 25 3:00-3:51 is INSANE. If it's one thing I love, it's a good outro and what an outro! Even if the verses aren't exactly anything to write home about, this is definitely a return to form and I'm so happy to be able to say that because I've missed her 1
Almighty Gaga Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I totally see the Government Hooker comparison. But this doesn't sound anything like HML or Bloody Mary, or that vibe at all like some people said. 1
Technicolor Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Okay miss Gaga didn't come to play I'm excited for the album!

It's gonna have 1 good week and then plummet. I don't think it's a very good lead single choice, imo. I can't imagine Pop radio sending this anywhere near the Top 10. 18
pablozedd Posted October 25 Posted October 25 5 minutes ago, Uncatena said: I very much think it's a bit overblown on purpose, Gaga loves doing that for this kind of sound. I remember the mixing and mastering being critiqued on BTW too. Yeah I think the song is supposed to sound "dirty" like this. They're planning it to be a Halloween song and the era itself is shaping to be dark themed. 2
Disconnect Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I had forgotten you can't express a negative opinion in here without everyone coming for you lmao. 1 9
enchanted0 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 It's okay. Won't be a hit too. But the album is heading for the right direction for sure.
Gerardo Posted October 25 Posted October 25 This is the best lead from a pop girl this year by far stan card renewed 4 3

Y'all were shading Taylor when TTPD came out and this is not better in any way tbh. Girl we just don't agree with you. I promise you I'm not pretending to like the song or somehow being less objective than you by liking the song. I'm sorry you didn't like this song, I didn't like Stupid Love and still don't. I survived and so will you. 2
Pop Art Posted October 25 Posted October 25 People in here "concerned" (I put that in quotations cuz it's mainly OGH feigning it) about radio rejecting this when they're even reluctant to play her smash that's been the #1 song in the world for literally the past 8 weeks. We've accepted for a while now that radio is her weakest metric (frankly it always was, even at her peak) and her career is still just fine, it's not a huge deal. 11 2

This lead single is NOT it. 2 11
