Future Nostalgia Still Fresh. Why?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently bumping the winner of the 2021 Grammys Pop Vocal Album Category and I'm kinda stumped it still sounds so relevant and TIMELESS. This record was vital during a time when everyone was being contained indoors and gave a taste of the hedonistic desires that we all longed for during the lockdowns. 4 years later it stills feels incredibly DELIGHTFUL and feels like a TESTAMENT of pure pop pleasure. I ask you ATRL, why does this record still feel so FRESH?

It's amazing record with bold attitude that was completely lacking in Radical Optimism. People use all sorts of excuses but the truth is - Future Nostalgia just bangs from the very beginning. I mean - you want a timeless song, I wanna change the game :jonny6:

That opening line SET THE TONE for real :WAP:

I did really enjoy RadOp but I TOTALLY get why some people do not f*ck with it.

I think this kind of pop music generally ages very well and is often timeless. I'm still streaming Hallucinate :heart2: One of her best bops. Hallucinate deserved a better music video.

hallucinate was my fave when the album just came out, it's so f*cking BOPPY and I agree, the animated thingy was cute, but we could've gotten more :lakitu:

One of the best albums released this decade. Dua did that with this masterpiece, tbh. :gayalipacat3:
