Lagerfeld Posted October 19 Posted October 19 The news of ROSÉ & Bruno Mars - "APT." has hit the stan world since yesterday. Many stans aren't shocked about this collaboration as they feel that Bruno is using collaborations to promote his career. What do you think and are you surprised? 3
Selegend Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Safe & smart choice by Bruno. Especially when we listen to it, both songs are what he does the best sonically and he will release solo songs already being #1 no monthly listeners imo 1
Troll Idle Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Well the girlies would never reach #1 without his help so 4 1 1 3
Taste of Honey Posted October 19 Posted October 19 No. It's very smart as a way to reintroduce him if he's coming with an album soon. Two very different songs so far, and it allows him to hit a bunch of different audiences. 5 1

You really believe that Bruno Mars, of all people, need Gaga (lol) and Rosè to promote his career? 30 1
wastedpotential Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Bruno Marks, brother of Karl? Spoiler ddd I kid, poor Lee having to see her duet partner move on so quickly 2
truthteller Posted October 19 Posted October 19 This is why we need to stay away from gambling addiction kids. 6
Gladiator Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) Well yes, generally collaborations are done to promote each other into their audience in addition to whatever organic friendship, etc. that influenced it. But that is the market result, expanding demographic and increasing exposure. Hope that helps. Edited October 19 by Gladiator
PrettyHurts Posted October 19 Posted October 19 hasn't he always done big collabs? i dont understand whats different or notable about it. he's a hitmaker solo and with others 1
Johnny Jacobs Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I dont know. I think it just made the gambling and debts rumored more possible imo. Good for him tho. Since when collabs are a bad thing
rhaenyra Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Works both ways in their favor By showcasing how versatile Bruno is with his releases this year And by properly introducing Rosé to the western world And what do you know? It's already a #1 hit in Korea People are hating just to hate 1

charot Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) The stan bubble's obsession with 'solo' lol The way collabs were celebrated before a certain song, in fact many/most hits before 2018 were collabs. Edited October 19 by charot 2 1
Megan Pete Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Please. He has some of the biggest classics of the century. When I Was Your Man gets more daily streams than Rosé's entire solo discography. Tbh I think it's really because of the gambling and his shady record deal. The fact that he sings the majority of DWAS but still gave Gaga primary lead credit and released the song under her record label is very weird

He doesn't need Gaga, but Rose can help him reach a new group of audience, and of course, his brand name would help her a lot too, benefiting each another. 1
