Smth's real fishy here and it's not related to 143 flopping

Dr. Luke produced Lil Durk x J. Cole - All My Life which WON a Grammy in Feb of 2024 (8 months ago). 143 flopping alone for sure damaged Katy's standing in the industry but sadly wouldn't affect Dr. Luke's that much

I rly think he's escaping Hollywood (like the title suggests) - for what reasons we don't know yet, but I don't think it's because of 143 flopping

I actually think new abuse allegations are about to come out :rip:

A pop comeback is the only thing he ever cared about. He wanted to re-enter the pop mainstream and be able to work with the biggest names in pop music without repercussions, just like it was the case until the lawsuit(s).

His current status isn't what he was bargaining for while he was suing Kesha and he's for sure not satisfied with it, notwithstanding the fact he obtained certain achievements in the hip-hop sphere during the last years.

143 was supposed to fully rehabilitate him in the pop world and it did the opposite.

I'm not saying it's the only reason for him to do this now, he was already trying to sell one of these back in 2018 (likely due to all the bad publicity from the lawsuit). But I can totally see 143's performance and backlash being the final straw for this to happen.

Katy Perry stimulated his fantasies of not staying in Hollywood, I see

Maybe Kim Petras will finally give him a hit so he doesn't have to discount his mansion at almost half if its price

He has earned enough and will continue to earn from the streams of all his past hits so a good decision to enjoy his remaining years in a peaceful state like hawaii. Enjoy the beaches.

You usually have awful takes but defending someone who both physically beat and raped a woman is wild.

someone who allegedly

Kesha didn't win the lawsuit, and he was not found guilty of any offense.

Hopefully a volcano doesn't erupt and only directly hit his home

Knowing him hes rushing back to Doja and other female rappers. I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up with a Glorilla or Sexyy Red single sooner or later. He knows how to move in this industry. I highly doubt he actually gives a **** about Katy to begin with. Hes probably happy she tanked as revenge for ditching him all these years lolz

If they work with him they should face the same backlash.
Hope that katy situation sets a precedent for every artist in Hollywood

I doubt the 143 floppage had anything to do with this considering he still gets a pletora of money from all the hits he cowrote and produced, there must be something else that caused this.

wait, imagine a reality that Katy only worked with him to MAKE him flop into retirement. that would actually be amazing lol

That's an hypothetical sceneario/fanficition.

The facts are that the lawsuit was settled and Luke wasn't found guilty.

So the logical thing to do is to put the alleged label before the accusations.

You have zero clue what you are talking about and it shows :rip:

It's not against the rules to say that Dr. Luke wasn't found guilty. It's facts.

Already got the WP for the first comment thanks :oxygen:

It's also fact that numerous women in the music industry have vocalized or alluded to DrLuke partaking in partial or blatant abusive behavior. But you love to act contrarian for the sake of it.

He's a failed producer. His productions have been pretty shtty lately. The worst part is that he's a vile person, and has made it his purpose to torment and mistreat his clients.

So I don't feel sorry for him, neither I feel sorry for those who still choose to work with him (and flop miserably).

Good riddance and don't come back, Dr Luke.
