Pink Ranger Posted October 17 Posted October 17 One of the best pop songs released in 2012 for sure. she had everything to crack America, looks, charisma and talent, such a shame things didn't work out that way 6 1
BrattyBottom Posted October 17 Posted October 17 A bop. I would be lying if I said I didn't love A Million Lights 1
Minto Posted October 17 Posted October 17 cheryl's voice is absolutely lifeless on this song esp on the chorus which always bugged me

I believe there are 2 other vocalists singing either with her, over her or instead of her on the track. Calvin Harris is a great pop songwriter and producer though. But apparently he only decided to give this song to Cheryl because he wanted her label to approve a collaboration with her labelmate Florence Welch. 1 6
allforyou Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Such a CLASSIC She needs to collaborate with Calvin again, Call My Mame is easily one of her best songs
blondeskinnyrich Posted October 17 Posted October 17 my favorite version is her breathing instead of singing because of the malfunctioning microphone love love love this kind of... stuff 5
Asparagus Spears Posted October 17 Posted October 17 The video and live performances of this was everything. She was the perfect popstar. She really should have Kept going. Her music is timeless
Gelato Posted October 17 Posted October 17 a classic. it's aged like a fine wine and better than any other early 2010s calvin song i can think of

That's how he put it in the Capital interview like 10 years later, but he always made the song with Cheryl in mind. He just dangled it in front of Polydor to get the Florence collab for 18 Months, he was never reluctant to give it to her.
paper moon Posted October 17 Posted October 17 The perfect combination of a well constructed song, fantastic styling, amazing music video and top tier promotion. She really could've gone worldwide with this album. 1
Antisocialites Posted October 17 Posted October 17 the Marquis de Sade quote at the beginning of the music video will always be a scream 1
