Dangerous In Love, the song she stole as part of Destiny's Child album, making it as a solo song, though it was even worse later with Check On It (with Kelly's vocals) "feat. Beyonce" at number one compilation, embarrassing. #JusticeforDestiny'sChildmembers

Genuine question tho, how could non-singles chart on the BB Hot 100 if they were sold only with the album back then?

The airplay for the songs. This was a quiet storm late night favorite.

Wouldn't a song have to be issued as a single to be sent to radios? I mean I thought that's how a single would get announced back then

I didnt even know DIL had such a record.

I mean DIL was played by radio. It peaked at #17 on urban radio. Especially In 2003 digital sales were almost 0 so billboard was basically the radio chart. But great achievement regardless for Billie and Beyonce.

DIL was a single. Beyonce even talked about it during her 2nd era (I was a stan back then) and she had a Walmart DVD exclusive with like 2 hours of content and an interview and she thanked BET for airing the visual because pop wouldn't and she was glad the single did what it did considering it got little support.

Also, pre 2000s artists were notorious for having radio singles without a video for at least once or twice in their era...then again they were releasing 5-8 singles per era and running the campaign for two years so...
