suburbannature Posted October 17 Posted October 17 It's basic by Twigs standards, but it's still pretty enjoyable. I'm partial to her depression anthems though (e.g. Cellophane, In Time, Pendulum).

ahauntingnearu Posted October 17 Posted October 17 We're not getting a Magdalene 2.0 and while that makes me sad, I can enjoy this album and era independently. Her melody game is so on point.

FlyPirate Posted October 17 Posted October 17 It is the most generic track on the album. 24 hr dog is very pop/r&b and sensual and reminds me of EPs/LP1 twigs, striptease is urban influenced, drums of death is very aggressive and electronic, girl feels good is obviously pop but more 90s/00s electronic and trip hop influenced, room of fools another club bop… 1
Taylor fanboy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Stargate is back! Not what I expected after Eusexua but it's a cute bop. 1
flower moon Posted October 17 Posted October 17 one listen is enough methinks. no need to go back to that
RideOrDie Posted October 17 Posted October 17 not her anon cumdump anthem anyways atlantic obviously asked for a safer single and all of her albooms have one of those so i'm not surprised, it's still v cute and the last chorus goes off, the alboom still has several masterpieces wbk also stargate produced is anyone surprised at the result... 1 1

wish Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Like yeah it's kinda "basic" but I still prefer Twigs' vision of pop more than a lot of the other girls out there. With that said, it's a cute bop. The outro is my favorite part, kinda wish it was 30 seconds longer.
BrattyBottom Posted October 17 Posted October 17 What?! I love this lol. Admittedly it's pretty generic by twig standards but it's a 10 for me
masochizm Posted October 17 Posted October 17 some of y'all saying this is basic… this is AMAZING… watch this get holy terrain'd 6 5
CottageHore Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) holy **** this is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! it's giving #1 smash hit in a just world edit: wait how are y'all not getting the perfection here? Edited October 17 by CottageHore 1
mathekr Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 (edited) It's a bit generic for my liking, but we've heard enough of the album to know it will be great Edited October 17 by mathekr
VENUSWAVE Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) PLEEK the praise for Girl Sleeps Good now THAT is a snoozefest and a weak attempt at an LFO sound call it her Bedtime Story Edited October 17 by VENUSWAVE 1
Forestboy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I mean, the last 20 seconds is what makes it honestly - same with Euseuxa. Wish there was more of that throughout.
