Young In Love Posted October 17 Posted October 17 hmm not feeling it after the first listen it's giving Ava Max 2 2
BlackoutZone Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Definitely much weaker than Grammy Feels Good and Godsexua, but still a bop 1
Supervillain Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This is a let down for me. Feels basic for her and the production doesn't go as hard as it should. I hope the album has another home with you or cellophane
Hex Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Meh... needed to progress more. So far this isn't topping Magdalene.
Tyrion_LMG Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I'm speechless by this new sound coming from her. This is such a great pop tune. I mean, Eusexua is superior but this is catchier. 2025 has a great contender already. 3
lillavend3r Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Love how she alternates artistic and experimental songs with basic bops I knew she had a popstar inside of her, signing with Atlantic was the best way to be both
Tiago Gomes Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I LOVE THIS SONGGGGGGG SO MUCH EUNSEXUA IS GOING BE THE AOTY
BNF91 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Seems like it'll be one of the weaker tracks of the album. Doesn't come close to Eusexua and GFG
playboi Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This is kinda shocking, sounds like a random DJ ft. Becky Hill song 2
Uncatena Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I'm going to predict that this album might throw off some of her more avant-garde leaning fans because of it's different skew of alternative and straight up pop influences. I personally think everything I've heard off this album so far sounds extremely promising, definitely Ray of Light/general 90s influence vibes but in the way Caroline Polachek does it, where it's scattered through their own lens. 6
Kintsugi Posted October 17 Posted October 17 this is so basic, really not feeling it, sounds like a Becky Hill song like someone else said, both production and lyric wise thankfully every single other song we've heard from the album is a 10/10, so it's okay 1
EdgeofTeeth Posted October 17 Posted October 17 seems the more commercial songs are at the front of the album and it will get more experimental as it progresses
L1veLaughL0ve Posted October 17 Posted October 17 The song is great. It's catchy and fun. I think people need to understand that this is a conceptual album. She's singing about an experience that's very integral to rave culture. Losing yourself, finding a stranger who in that moment is everything you desire. You wouldn't hear cellophane in a rave now would you? I think the haters of this song will change their mind once the album comes out and they see how Twigs has tried to encapsulate this theme so effortlessly. 3
AndresVanDeKamp Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Kind of basic. But they can't all be smashes I guess. Obviously more interested to hear it in context of the album, but don't see myself playing it much until then. 1
