One of her earliest collaborations with producer Jack Antonoff, Out of the Woods received critical acclaim for its lyricism and 1980s-influenced production, with Pitchfork ranking it as 94 on their list of the 100 best tracks of 2014. The song peaked at #18 on the Billboard Hot 100.
