10 years ago today, Taylor Swift released Out of the Woods as a promotional single from her 5th album, 1989. One of her earliest collaborations with producer Jack Antonoff, Out of the Woods received critical acclaim for its lyricism and 1980s-influenced production, with Pitchfork ranking it as 94 on their list of the 100 best tracks of 2014. The song peaked at #18 on the Billboard Hot 100. A decade later, Out of the Woods is considered by some (me) to be one of the greatest songs ever made

One of the best songs from 1989. It's a shame it wasn't a huge hit.
