I'm not using the word natural in a moral sense. I'm just saying that human beings are NOT herbivores, we NEED to eat animal food to obtain COMPLETE protein chains. If you don't know anything about human evolution and how we became human in the first place (hint: meat & fire lol) then I don't know what to say.

Vegan societies do not exist for a reason. My actual point, beyond morality and health, is that asking human beings to give up meat is NOT going to happen. Electric cars, lab grown meat, FORCING polluting industries to comply, etc. are more useful and realistic ways of addressing this issue than forcing your beliefs down people's throats!

Do you have any data on long term vegan populations having proven poor health outcomes?

I would suggest looking up the Vegan Adventist studies who have been on the diet for years to decades since I don't want to drag you with data:suburban:

Omega 3s are from algae.

Fish is a secondary source:rip:

¿? Wrong. Algae is an ok source for a vegetarian diet. But the best form of consumption is from fatty fish, because it contains higher concentration of EPA and DHA which are directly used by the body. Supplementation with fish is cheaper also.

I present you some recent articles to backup my point.

No, not wrong. DHA originates in algae

So if you're playing the "natural" angle like many people here that claim is false.

DHA and EPA are present in fish, fish oils, and krill oils, but they are originally synthesized by microalgae, not by the fish.

And vegan DHA supplementation works. There appears to be no official recommended amount but if we're talking 300mg by some heath organizations that only takes 1 or 2 capsules.

We conclude that vegans have low baseline omega-3 levels, but not lower than omnivores who also consume very little docosahexaenoic and eicosapentaenoic acids. The vegans responded robustly to a relatively low dose of a vegetarian omega-3 supplement.

Fish and other seafood also can contain high levels of PCB's so it's kind of stupid to take it as fish/fish oil??? Especially if it's larger fish.

  • PCBs persist in the environment from spills, leaks, and improper disposal. They can remain for many years in soil and the sediment under rivers, lakes and other water bodies.

  • PCBs may also be found in fish and shellfish. These foods can contain high levels of PCBs in some areas.

the "veganism agenda" in question being the scientific consensus that eating less meat could save the planet lmfao, y'all are so cooked.

Key words! "Eating LESS meat" not going full vegan. You will simply never convince the world to give up meat. Never.

That's why I don't get this agenda. Push people to give up meat a few days a week (which would already do a LOT).

Asking someone to eat meat only 4-5 days a week instead of everyday would be a workable goal. Asking everyone to be a vegan is impossible and a stupid goal.
