People are literally walking out of theaters when the musical scenes start to roll. People don't want to see the movie because of her. She is box office poison. Her fans are not ready to accept that and they're deluding themselves saying the reviews praised her. How come people are not listening to the album then? If it was just the movie that was bad, and not Gaga, how come the album is flopping too? What's the excuse for that?

But the 2 movies she did increased sales because of her. So what now?

She is not the reason this bombed :rip: I blame the director & writers for this mess based on what I've heard about what happens

So why don't you include Borderlands' marketing budget when counting the losses?

Borderlands marketing was only $35 million

Im I the only one who thinks this won't effect her musical career at all?
Like be real.
:psyduck:

I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Her album free falls because no one outside her delusional fanbase hear it? So like Born This Way, Artpop, Joanne, Chromatica…

You too boo! Guess you don't know that a movie's budget doesn't include the marketing and distribution costs :chick3:

But your math is straight up wrong because you're using different approaches to the two movies :dies:

Borderlands:

Production budget: $115M

Marketing budget: $35M

BO gross: $35

= $115M loss

Joker: FAD

Production budget: $200M

Marketing budget: $100M (allegedly)

BO gross: $123M

= $177M loss

Yet you're throwing around a $325M figure, as if $177M isn't bad enough :deadbanana2:

The studio only gets HALF of the ticket sales revenue

Gaga's j:FAD has a total budget of around $450M according to Variety, so the total loss is $327M.

Variety never said it had a budget of $450M, they said it needs to make that figure to break even.

Now use the same logic for Borderlands numbers.

I wouldn't deflect with a collab single with one of the biggest male hitmakers of our time.

Not helping your case sweetie:

TWO full ALBUMS: tanked. One being completely solo.

Supposed blockbuster sequel: tanked.
