Of course it's not as big, it's not commercial. It's a major achievement that she became that successful with that kind of sound, that's what's impressive. The cultural impact. Not the commercial success alone.

Well of course they want the most out of it, but they are not creating a sound in order to get a hit. Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter try to create earworms, generic sounds. It's different.

Not surprising tbh, the remix kind of ruined the song. I enjoy some of the new Brat remixes but none of them are ever gonna hit like Lorde did (except Guess, Billie's verse is very good)

This song is on the cover of a playlist for top HITS. You cannot always use the tired arts not charts argument sweetie.. Charli is currently getting the same treatment any MPG would from their label so where is the impact on the charts?
