Quality is subjective. Consumption is not and according to certified data, it's clear what people like, cause TTPD is WAY ahead of Brat in every possible metric

I see the xcx police has arrived. With how many there are, you would expect Charli to be the biggest music seller this year but then you wake up

What is this random obsession with Charli? :deadbanana4: I can only assume its because Brat was a much bigger moment than TTPD and you somehow feel threatened by another woman's success :rip:

insecure and insufferable .. like fan like fav i guess? :suburban:

Right like why are they so insistent on reminding us Taylor is bigger than Charli like we're not aware of that already or as if that has anything to do with quality :suburban:

You Swifties and Taylor are the worst misogynists in Pop culture :deadbanana2:

ATRLers: "we need to take down Taylor and her fans so we can go back to attacking Chappell Roan and Lady Gaga."

I kinda feel like 100s of millions of listeners verdicts > 20 sum prematurely balding white guys statistically but I like both and I'm not in this battle. Carry on🫡

Whatever you need to say to keep enjoying your slop. Most consumed != Best / Highest Quality.

Attacking someone's employment status because you can't engage with the substance of the argument that they're making is a strong indicator that you've lost the plot

I can't with charli stans calling brat the "biggest moment" this year but then getting mad at someone pointing out the album's subpar sales

Every pop girl goes through the same insufferable behaviour, so maybe just calm down and stop throwing hands over any minor critique

Mind you, sn't Sympathy Is A Knife all about how Taylor makes Charli feel insecure? :suburban:

That said, I'm a Charli fan too and the user who prompted this nonsense is a Dua stan, I implore my fellow angels to pivot to dragging Radical Optimism's numbers instead and leave Taylor alone:suburban:

Brat had a big moment, but like... there's a degree of terminal onlineness required and the cultural permutation was not as deep as y'all would like to think :deadbanana4:

And as for TTPD getting worse reviews, well yes of course, that was to be expected. Despite original intentions, these reviewers are fundamentally working to drive advertising revenue for their parent companies, and shitting on the biggest artist of the century drives exponentially more traffic than praising an album from an indie darling that'll finally go Platinum in the 2030s, lets please not be obtuse.

Anyway snaps for IHIH, it's an excellent song about the emotional turmoil and insecurity in aging out of one's youth that deeply resonates with me, I hope some of y'all running in here to fight go give it a stream! Matthew or Mark or Luke or John, The Apostletross, and St. Peter next :ryan3:

Why are we fighting over Brat and TTPD in this thread omg? :psyduck:  The gay on gay violence….

I just wanted to say I'm surprised Morgan Wallen's not the one with this record considering how successful his albums have been but oh well... Let's settle for a good old fashioned ATRL nonsense about a subject that's already been beaten to death aka TTPD vs Brat. :suburban:

And I don't know who I'm supposed to support because I don't understand why Swifties are taking the bait and bringing up the numbers as if nobody knew that TTPD is infinitely more successful or the antis who are tired of reading these numbers but at the same time are constantly baiting Swifties by saying nobody but the fans listened to TTPD and then gaslighting them when they drag the underwhelming numbers of Brat. :suburban:

I guess this sums it all up:

Said nobody. 4 AOTYs are still the biggest acclaim an album or artist can get. Charli has glorious ZERO.
