Brat had a big moment, but like... there's a degree of terminal onlineness required and the cultural permutation was not as deep as y'all would like to think 

 

And as for TTPD getting worse reviews, well yes of course, that was to be expected. Despite original intentions, these reviewers are fundamentally working to drive advertising revenue for their parent companies, and shitting on the biggest artist of the century drives exponentially more traffic than praising an album from an indie darling that'll finally go Platinum in the 2030s, lets please not be obtuse.
