Grace Randolph would never say this. This is why she is #1 on the Critics Charts and not this man.

A straight man hating on musicals is a tale as old as time.

That argument is so dumb when he gave charli a 10/10 which he never does. I'm gay and i hate musicals.

Stop blaming the straights for flops yall

What does Charli have to do with musicals?:suburban:

I'm not saying this justifies the movie underperforming or being arguably bad, I'm just saying I'm not going to sit and spend my time watching a straight (and pretentious af) man venting about how much he hates a musical.

You're coming for him being straight hating on something that is considered feminine or gay thing. Charli is a good example for that too imo.

Watch him or not, it's your choice. I find him annoying as well :ninja: But we need to stop pushing the straight/gay narrative where it doesn't belong.

What I found funnier is when ASIB came out he called it terrible and when DWAS came out he said that "ASIB music was so good". He really doesn't like Gaga idk why JKGDHk

Agree to disagree. I think it belongs considering the bold and weird choice of making a superheroes/comic (which usually caters to straights) movie in the form of a musical (which usually caters to gays). I don't really like musicals either but I've come to found some stereotypes quite accurate.

He's not even talking about the musical aspect. He's just talking about how much the story itself sucks. On the musical part he hates how the music is used not that it's a musical ( which is also dumb that you think that when he's a MUSIC reviewer)

I love how you're complaining about projections when you're projecting yourself :rip:

I mean, this is the same man that panned Shallow and didn't review ASIB because "it's music from a film", only to recently pan DWAS because "it doesn't sound like Shallow or ASIB", so I don't know why y'all still listen to him on Gags-related subjects

I'm not complaining about anything hun. But thanks for summing up the video. I wonder if he reviews musicals often or if he would have reviewed this one if it was good, though. Hopefully he reviews Wicked so all of you who care so much about his opinion are satisfied :cm:

Joaquin singing was the most headache inducing thing apart from the snail paced plot. They could've just condensed the whole movie into a 15 min clip of Lee and it would still be better.

Who does he think he is, Grace Randolph?
