Babydoll. Posted October 11 Posted October 11 idk we're kiking on her in this thread about how shes going to have less success now but like.... that's probably exactly what she wants.
Polgg48 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 sense that her team isnt competent to be professional as seen on grammy campaign and distrust her from mass booking/negative impact interviews. the desperation was shown and understand that eventually she cannot be breakdown like this forever, such an exhausting event. 1
jadeabove Posted October 11 Posted October 11 That sounds like she stood her ground with her manager. Good for her.
Venice B Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The way she's doing everything in her power to fade into obscurity is kinda fascinating ngl she seems to have a goal and she's 100% dedicated 2
kayliah Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Good riddance im sick of her tantrums. Talented singer and decent lyricist but god she's insufferable. Do what you do to be happy and leave us alone too.

Gui Blackout Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I don't think I've ever seen a self implosion happen so fast 1
orange22 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Her and her manager all summer also a lot of you seem to forget she wants to be Kate Bush not Halsey 2
katara Posted October 11 Posted October 11 This girl is the definition of someone who wins a million at the lottery then spends it all in a few months on stupid sh*t and in the end ends up broke and homeless 4
discosean Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) Perhaps she does not want to be this mainstream and whatnot and she needs a manager who she can actually work with that is in line with that. But she may have to seriously consider not being a major label artist if she wants to not do that many performances and interviews. And if she is this uncomfortable with all the heightened attention and fame, she might want to really figure out if she wants to be a recording artist. There is nothing wrong with establishing and setting boundaries because for far too long, most artists have just gone along with the traditional promotional and touring cycles and not really pushed back about it, but we have seen what it can do to artists. And we the fans/stans contribute to this when we place unreasonable expectations on artists when it comes to how quickly they should release new music, how often they should release singles, how much promo they should do. Artists are not an extension of us. I enjoy her music and performances so I hope she is able to successfully navigate this transition and make the appropriate changes to find the right balance so she can continue to make music and do performances but also remain healthy and happy. I mean this manager was with her well before she was famous

Or she couldn't work with him because he was not supportive of her. But I also wonder if her manager was abusive and she needed to leave him? 1

Whining about her own fans, cancelling shows last minute, firing the manager who made her happen, refusing to shoot videos out of literal lazyness… why is "her team" the excuse?
