Todd really had all the correct ingredients laid out for him on a $200m platter to make one the most compelling movies of the year by FAR. and yet somehow he still managed to f*ck it up from every possible angle while also alienating every potential audience that could have been interested in it in the meantime i really need there to be a documentary made about this phenomenon within the next 10 years because it truly is a captivating mystery.
