Some of these people might be really young and that can explain some of it.

You know that friendship bracelet became a thing again because of the Eras tour.  Don't act dense.

Okay to be fair there's validity to both parts of it. They're obviously much older than any Taylor Swift association. But the Swifties have definitely had a play in the revitalization of the bracelets in recent years

I mean in regards to charli 'shading' Taylor with charli's background in the night life/rave culture it's probably a reference to rave candy braclets

No they didn't they've been a thing for decades… you're the dense one.

No one said Taylor invented it. They have been around for ages. But it started to come to the headlines again because of the Eras Tour. You're the dense one here. Sorry.

Don't be dense and pretend they haven't made a big comeback because of the eras tour

we know she didn't invent them, or popularise them originally but they have for sure become big in the last year because of the tour

Arguing over who popularized BEADED BRACELETS.. are y'all not embarrassed? And let it be said. Rave culture with their pacifiers & furry adjacent animal garb is cringe. This whole discourse is stupid af

Why are these "mega viral" threads always made about Twitter, why are they never made about ticktock even though it's much bigger and Twitter is factually dying?

But what if it is?

The point the replies should be making is that Charli's props could have easily been coincidental cause it wasn't even her concept but Lachapelles.

But Taylor did make friendship bracelets her brand, in the same way high ponytails existed before Ariana but are associated with her, or literally anything else that makes you immediately think of an artist.
