Why don't we compare ASIB and Evita?

And JFAD with the rest of Madonna's Razzie Awarded Filmography?

Evita will live on in queer history but I don't think either will be remembered as classics by the wider general public.

People in 2072 won't be talking about either of them like they're classic musicals.

So…which one will endure? Neither :sorry:

Evita is well reviewed, won three Golden Globes and an Oscar, was a financial success and has given us two enduring Madonna classics: Don't Cry For Me Argentina and You Must Love Me. J:Fad will have none of those things but I do suspect it might win Gaga her first Razzie, so.

I was waiting for someone to say that.

Evita would still win since it was directed by a 10x Oscar winner.  Not to mention all the songs were wrote and composed by two EGOT winners, and one of those songs (that Madonna performed) won an Oscar.  :foxaylove2:

What u tagged me for?

So Madonna stans aka WORST Actress of the Last Century is now comparing Madonna's "best" received film with 64% RT to Gaga's Worst received Film instead of comparing it to Gaga's best which is ASIB with 90% RT Score?

Inchresting

At least Madonna actually looked good, and shown some star quality in most of those scenes:

Desperately Seeking Susan and A League of Their Own are better than ANY Gaga movie, like not even close.   "League" is actually a pretty well known CLASSIC for many reasons.

Evita is a classic, Madonna won a golden globe  when that mattered. The songs are great and the movie is exactly what you expect. A musical about Eva Peron

Joker 2 is some random bad idea that failed for everyone involved

And let's be completely honest, Madonna is not an actress, but she deserved that Oscar for Evita. That was once in a lifetime opportunity and she was robbed by the academy.

Anyone with the same performance would have been nominated but the academy was just very conservative back then

Phew, so tired of you monsters disrespecting Madonna:rip: She is universally known as the Queen Of Pop - the best-selling female recording artist of all time. Her acting career (or lack thereof) is barely a footnote in her story. The gag is that despite being the "Worst Actress Of The Century", she still had her fair share of successful films besides Evita.

Desperately Seeking Susan (86% RT) and A League of Their Own (82% RT), have been preserved by the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress, underscoring their "cultural, historical, and aesthetic significance".

Her documentary Truth or Dare (86% RT) was groundbreaking for its time, becoming the highest-grossing documentary ever released at that point.

Dick Tracy (62% RT - same as House Of Gucci) was a #1 box-office hit and was nominated for seven Academy Awards. Madonna's companion album I'm Breathless sold 12 million units and spawned Two Top 10 hits + the Best Original Song winner "Sooner or Later".

The rest of her filmography has been rightfully panned, so I'm not even trying to pretend she's a great actress :skull: the point is you guys are getting way too brave considering Gaga only has three major films under her belt (and JFAD is already one of the most expensive bombs of all time). Be humble.

Ooh don't make that face, liddos

What insecure honey? Lady Gaga on the top of the Spotify charts with 10M+ streams daily.

On her way to Venice film fest to promote her billion dollar movie and running for Best Actress oscar nomination.

Wake up to the real world

"HER billion dollar movie" (back then it was still HER movie, you know, before the reviews and the terrible ticket sales), "running for Best Actress oscar nomination"... Wake up to the real world, indeed.

Oh, let's not forget that both "Susan" and " A League" have been acquired by the Librery of Congress for their cultural, historic and aesthetic significance! This is very hard to get, not everybody has that :coffee2:
