Looks like Android has a higher risk assessment for faulty devices compared to Apple. Samsung is also known worldwide for their exploding products (washer/dryer machines, ear buds, and phones). They have something blowing up every other year requiring manufacture recalls. iPhones have had far less incidents. Edited October 7 by Buffy 1

Life Savers Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Not an AI-written ad Use whatever phone you want to use. I had Samsungs twice and found the experience terrible. They were also laggy barely a year in. I'm still using an iPhone 11 that I've had for five years and works just fine for everything I want it to do. Whenever I update it'll be to the same ecosystem. 1
Peak Now Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Why do so many people give a flying **** about what phones other people buy like its 2012 ? Touching grass is much needed. 2 1
burninredhot Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) The downvotes when the OP is spilling facts do yall work at Apple or smth? Edited October 7 by burninredhot 1 1

Illuminati Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Why do people still buy phones like they need a new one every year. Isn't the whole point of paying premium for more durable materials and water/dust/life resistance so you wouldn't have to get a new phone every couple of months? It's not the early 2010s anymore, which was maybe the last time they had any real upgrades once every couple of years. 2
Bussea Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) Android users are so insecure I feel like yall spend more time screaming at iPhone users about how much you love your phone instead of actually loving your phone. Edited October 7 by Bussea 4
BlueBlue Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I'm buying iphones and galaxy. Both systems have cons and pros

katymysassqueen Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I had a Samsung Galaxy phone before I got the iphone 12 and I hated it with a passion. I've had previous iPhones before and another android in between. I've always had issues with both android phones and no issues with iphones. 1
Fevesy Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I've switched between iPhones and Androids for the last decade, but honestly, I'm going to stick with iPhone as my main phone and I have a Pixel to do some software stuff on. Android has its pros and the amount of options and customisation is great but I think app developers for Android devices don't focus on optimization which sours the experience for me. Even though Android phones often have better hardware specs, apps often still run way worse than they would on iPhones, but I get it since Android is so open and has thousands of devices each with different specs to consider.
Buffy Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Android might have 80,000 customization options and apps. iPhones don't need all that. We're buying a phone, not a computer loaded with viruses. 1
Glam Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Most people have android because they have to. No one will look at your Samsung or other brand and seriously think "that's such a cool phone".
lef Posted October 10 Posted October 10 you will never see apple users write coke rants like these about why people buy android phones (coming from an ex iphone hater who switched like a f-)
MP3 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Iphones can last for more than 2 years Android last for less than 2 years 1 2
Bubble Tea Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Honestly all phones do the same thing - permit you to stare endlessly into some black void and observe the fake curated manufactured lives of unforgiveable influencers and occasionally people you know's carefully selected highlights with the express purpose to make their life seem better than yours, and to stick your nose into it.
