Beyoncé's Irreemplazable charted at #105

Oh my Lord you are so pathetic :ahh: the biggest loser on this site this week by far. That was a Spanish EP that was featured as a bonus CD for the deluxe edition of B'day. Plus these are all Spanish remixes of her songs. Nobody considers this a part of Beyoncé's main discography, absolutely nobody. Unlike Gaga, who she herself called Harlequin a "Lady Gaga album" which is why she calls it "LG 6.5". Face it, Harlequin is a studio album that flopped. Such weird behavior, riding so hard for a celebrity who has no clue you exist.

That's on you because Cher's album right after Heart of Stone reached #48, Beyoncé's Irreemplazable charted at #105, Tina Turner's Foreign Affair reached #31 and Taylor Swift's The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection reached #20.

All legends have that in common: non-studio albums with covers or original songs doing worse than regular studio albums with original songs. Guess Gaga is one of them now.

I know you can't be even remotely serious with these comparisons. All of these were released during times when it was a requirement to purchase these records in order to hear them—something people are obviously far more reluctant to do with a bunch of foreign language variations or Christmas songs as opposed to a traditional English pop album such as Harlequin.

Music is so much more readily accessible these days, and Harlequin had heavy playlisting promotion with its original song "Happy Mistake". There was no barrier to consume this album other than the fact people quite simply did not wish to. You can't compare the way albums are consumed across decades because it's simply not apples for apples.

Not an OGH calling someone else a loser :rip: While I do admit the Beyoncé one was a bit of a joke, you're comparing a jazz covers album with zero singles to full-blown studio albums with singles and music videos. There's no number such as 6.5, there's 6 and there's 7. What she meant was this is a Gaga album but it's not part of her studio albums. If it were, she'd call it LG7.

Anyways, you're expecting her next album to do similar numbers then because her star has clearly faded below Katy's and Camilla's according to you and your treatment of Harlequin, so just beware that you'll also be taking the fall for this if it turns out her next album does even slightly better numbers. Now would be the perfect time to also include your avi to underline how stupid your arguments are but since you don't have one this one will take its place:

Again, loser :rip: all this effort and for what? I'm not an OGH you're just delusional and weird. You've already lost all credibility this week and have been dragged through mud and hell, so I'll spare myself the time.

Also, who cares if I don't have an avi wtf:rip: What a weird thing to say. Idgaf about my presence on this website so I don't care to put in the effort of uploading an avi.

For a niche jazz covers album I actually think #20 is pretty impressive haha.

Harlequin earned 25,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 3, according to Luminate.

Of that sum, 16,000 are traditional album sales.

Streaming equivalent album-units comprise nearly 9,000 – equaling 11.34 million official on-demand streams of the album's songs. The latter figure marks the biggest debut streaming week for a jazz album in over a year, since Laufey's Bewitched bowed with 22.36 million

So once you switch genres you are only successful if you have the biggest album? :skull:

And before I hear the "its a soundtrack!", "its a buzz-album!" excuses… repeat after me:

Harlequin by Lady Gaga is a studio album. It was inspired by Lady Gaga's movie: Joker FAD.

It is not a soundtrack album, wikipedia is not a credible source. :heart2:

but whats your excuse gonna be when LG7 releases?

I had to look up what Timeless was. I hope Billie snatches that #1 out of Shaboozey's hands.

Haven't checked the hot100 in a while but how is it possible that Gaga and Bruno have literally the most streamed song in the world and ofc  in the USA ( on spotify ) and are not even top3? o.o

radio (driven by labels)  really has all that impact?
