Dont mis understand me. I love my baby Hilary but the song should have been given to an even bigger artist back then for the song to shine at its fullest.

Well it was written by Hillary and Haylie. When it was released it was rumored to be about Nicole Richie but Hillary said it was about her father and his mistress

Great song tho

I voted fm for best, Cher for most offensive (her 70s output has a long run of jaw dropping stuff like this), shakira is definitely in that conversation tho the cheap stereotypes are quite funny in an "oh, she didnt" sort of way

Yeah I know i used to be a very hardcore hilary duff fan. She has a special place in my heart and memories. Also she is sooo sweet. Dignity is a pop cult classic, she was ahead of her time

tbhi dont really see Cher's song as outright offensive. its pretty much a story about how the narrator and her family get called these words.

I don't find Cher's Gypsys Tramps and Thieves offensive at all. Just the opposite. It's the story of the character overcoming the offensives of others.
