Kayseri Mantisi Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) a scandal after scandal GaGa should sue them for defamation at this point they had one job... even way less important movies get test screenings why did they think it's ok to not do it for this one?? honestly GaGa being the best part of the movie even after all this mess deserves an applause.mp3 Edited October 5 by Kayseri Mantisi 2 2
shyboi Posted October 5 Posted October 5 already posted 10 times, yall doing too much on this movie. 3
State of Grace. Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) We can tell. This reminds me when WB/Bradley used many test screenings of ASIB to gather feedback and improve the pacing/editing. Obviously, that had a lot to do with it being his directorial debut, but they should have done at least one for JFAD. I bet he's relieved that he didn't come back to produce the sequel after he had his name on the record-breaking Joker. Edited October 5 by State of Grace. 3

Domination Posted October 5 Posted October 5 We can tell. The final product felt like literally no one watched the movie in full before it was released. 1
Almighty Gaga Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Gaga's silence and laugh after she was asked if it met her expectations really said everything 2
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 5 Posted October 5 This is kinda starting to give money laundering vibes 7
Sombre Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Yeah, we can tell. I remember ASIB having multiple test screenings, in which each new one improved on the previous screening' feedback until we got the critically acclaimed cut that was released. WB really just burns through money with no care in the world, huh.

It's literally an actual excuse, a scandal in the best way possible. Don't you see the reactions, replies & likes to the information of no test screening tweet? Like it's actually something to be ashamed for & a mistake. How is a $200 million movie not getting any test screenings? I'm sure this is being criticized in the actors world too. 1
commander Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Those executives at WB are dumb af. 200 millions down the toilet 1
lgaga1fan Posted October 5 Posted October 5 This should reflect more poorly on Zaslov and Phillips than any of the talent involved in the film. Why would you make a $200m+ dollar investment and not at least attempt to see if it'll pan out? I'd get if it was some kind of smaller-mid budget film (like many people mentioning ASIB) to maybe not care about test screenings but this is insane. I really did enjoy the film but there were some obvious edits they could have made to the existing product that would have made it better for both enjoyers and detractors. 2
lgaga1fan Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Just now, commander said: Those executives at WB are dumb af. 200 millions down the toilet Somehow this is barely in the top 10 of dumbass decisions that Warner has made over the decade. They have movies that test screen well that they just destroyed and don't release to write off on taxes so
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted October 5 Posted October 5 The way WB scrapped Batgirl and Coyote vs. ACME films even though they got positive test screenings while they let Joker sequel getting away with no test screening just because the first movie made $1 billion 2
Magdalene Posted October 5 Posted October 5 going from a billion dollar picture to competing with morbius on the next is so surreal to me 1 4
