For comparison's sake, Witness was such a massive decline from PRISM that both Roar and Dark Horse individually moved more units than every song from Witness combined. Nobody's arguing that Katy's albums weren't more successful. But, PRISM - 14,751,000 Witness - 2,949,000 (-81%) Bionic - 1,502,000 Lotus - 1,146,000 (-24%) Witness was a high budget era and even got albums given away by the company for ticket redemptions. Still, Katy fell by almost 11M units from one era to the next. Lotus saw Christina post a soft decline from era-to-era despite almost no budget, and she sprinkled in smash hits left-and-right during the era.
