Lagerfeld Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) Now that the new movie is out in theaters, I feel that the public and stans' attention have quickly diverted from 143 to Joker: Folie á Deux's critical and commercial situation. Has Katy made a swift escape from the public's criticism? She's even submitted her music to the Grammys and stans had nothing to say about it. Edited October 5 by Lagerfeld 6
blueberries Posted October 5 Posted October 5 katy outsold in 2013 and gaga outflopped in 2024 , now they're even 9 1
Popular Post Europe Posted October 5 Popular Post Posted October 5 The sheer amount of Gaga / Katy threads you make is so sad. I sincerely hope you are like 16 years old but of course someone of that age would not feel this passionate about either of those ladies. 2 21
Bends Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Yes, because the ratio of budget and profit. If Perry had spent 200 million to record an album and got 1 million, she would have been a failure. It's a business.
Colmillo Posted October 5 Posted October 5 143 didn't even have attention to begin with, anything would overshadow it 1 2
Xtina23 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) OH YES SHE DID, AND FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS! HAHAHAHAH #STREAM143 #BUY143 #POPYOBUSSYTO143 Edited October 5 by Xtina23
Dula Peep Posted October 5 Posted October 5 143 was a career ending bomb….. did Batman & Robin end George Clooney, Uma Thurman or Arnold Schwarzenegger??? Did Birds of Prey end Margot Robbie??? 3
alexrex Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) For 143, it was only the critics and gay pop forums. No one else cares about that album. Edited October 5 by alexrex 2
Mendussy Posted October 5 Posted October 5 No one outside of stan twitter heard the Katree fall. JFAD is a bigger spectacle.
Sannie Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I really beg you people, for your mental health, to log off of the Internet and do something that requires you to live in the real world. The Gaga stuff is fully online only for stans. Even critics of the movie are not coming for Gaga, only stans are. Everyone from critics to stans were coming for Katy. People moved on from Katy because she's boring. No one cares. Everyone got in their lashings and then left her beaten and bruised. I get it, Gaga having the biggest song in the world, the real world, has many of you on suicide watch, but this desperate narrative you're trying to push to make yourselves feel better, is just not manifesting in the real world. 1 1

If we're being fully honest, the Gaga lashings are closer to being GP complaints than the Katy ones, if only because straight men are stupid and associate Gaga with making them endure a musical when they just wanted to watch Incel 2. Aries Groove Posted October 5 Posted October 5 YOU WISH Katy floppage is even worse as it was her last card 1
