discussion How late are you willing to meet up with people to go out?

I have a friend who I love going out for drinks with but good god sometimes we meet extremely late. I'm talking 11:30-12 pm. For some people this is normal but I'm turning 30 in a couple of months and idk if I can keep meeting that late. Sometimes he'll tell me we can meet earlier and then he takes foreverrr to get ready. Anyways what is the latest you're willing to start your night out before you're like nope I'm out these days?

I don't even go out much so this isn't a problem but yeah. 9 P.M. is the cut off, weekend or not.

I like being back by 10:30pm. I get it's super early for a lot of people but I like to go to the gym in the morning.

IDC if this makes me sound like a boomer but even in my early twenties I hated being out past 11 PM. Especially since the bus lines close early and I don't want to pay for Uber.

Depends on who it is. If you're someone I really like, I'd meet you at any hour of the day. Everyone else, before 8pm.

If it’s not on my calendar at least 3 days in advance, then I’m not going. The time I can make work. But I need a proper heads up.

9pm, 9:30 max, And it's not so i can be home early bc trust me i will still be out until 5am lmao. but it's like .. im taking the time to make myself look good and spending money on pre-drinks etc, i wanna make a whole night of it not just 3 hours

Depends on when I'm working / if I'm already out being social. If I'm home all day I'm not staying up past 11, but if I work till 10 I can stay up till like 1 or 2 hanging out

It depends. If it's for bars and clubs I don't leave the house after 10 pm. If it's for a chill meet up at a house or a walk, I can do it anytime before I go to bed.

If we're pre-ing 9:30 and we better be out the house by 10:30. I like to be back home in my bed by 2:30am.

I don't really care what time. But it is rare that I'm out socializing past 11pm. I do usually go to the gym late at night.

10pm is a pretty good cut off. 
 

I literally cannot stand being out till 2-3am anymore, after a while you realize how draining it is on your health and mental the next day/week.

The clubs and bars close at 3am here so there is no point of joining friends after midnight to go out after so I would say around 10pm is the ideal hour to pre-drink and go out after

Also told me he knows someone at the bar we were planning to go who always comes up to us and starts talking about himself/saying weird **** and I am not in the mood to hang out with this dude unannounced so we have to change our plans and I'm kinda annoyed about that too lol

He clearly doesn't respect you or your time. I would've called it a night after the first time change.

If I'm high at a club and someone texts me "where are you? We're having kick-ons" at 7am, I'm going.

 

So if I'm skiing, there's quite literally no limit.
