Gaga's performance has been praised as the high point of the film and the reviewers are saying she was wasted in the film so again, I'm not undertsanding where this outburst of criticism towards her is coming from, other than frustrated KatyCats trying to change the subject from 143 being a failure. No one is saying Anya Taylor Joy is at fault for Furiosa failing or Cate Blanchett for Borderlands. But again, I'm expecting too much of ATRL. GaGa delivered another well-received performance and atrl is lashing out since they can't run with their panned actress narrative 4 1

Now that, I think is universally accepted. Although for Joker she was only sent half the script when she signed on and the consensus seems to be that the movie collapses at the second half. Still, she's wasting her talent on bad movies ever since HoG.

toast Posted October 4 Posted October 4 If anything it seems like reviewers are being intentional about letting people know Gaga was the saving grace in the movie. I still think a lot of the negative reviews are motivated by execs wanting to drag Joaquin for dropping out of that movie last minute.
