they need to define "breakthrough" bc yes, Sabrina broke through as an A-list pop star and got a much wider audience bc of it.

 

But lbr, she was known before and was probably making a decent coin even before all this "new" success.

 

Either way, good things happen to good people and she seems like a sweetheart - so I hope like her idol Xtina, she gets her own BNA Grammy

They just stated she submitted the album for the Country category, the album tracks will be very in different genre categories like she did for her previous albums: Lemonade (rnb, pop, rock, country), Renaissance (dance/electronic, pop, rnb), The Gift, I Am… Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé (pop/rnb).

 

We'll probably have something like:

Country Solo/Song Texas Hold Em/16 Carriages

Country Duo/Group: II Most Wanted/Blackbiird

Americana Song/Performance: Ameriican Requiiem/16 Carriages

Pop Solo: Texas Hold Em/Bodyguard

Pop Duo: II Most Wanted/Levii's Jeans

Melodic Rap: My House? Sweet Honey Buckiin?

RnB Song/Performance: My House? Tyrant? II Hands II Heaven? Ya Ya? 

 

It could go in many ways, maybe even rock song or performance if she stretches it a bit. 

 

 

I know she's going to get nominated in other categories. I don't see the country committee letting her make into best country album category. That's what I'm lamenting. Most of her albums have been placed in a genre album category and she's won more times than not. This time she mightn't get the nod at all.
