You can't force logic on illogical people. They're so (negatively) emotionally invested in Gaga's successes and their blood has been boiling for a while now, I just know it. We LOVE to see it!

It makes sense RideOrDie has some music industry connection. Because the people that work in that flailing industry are also clueless and somehow green-light albums such as Solar Power, 143, Harlequin, Man of the Woods, and more.

A movie needs to gross at least 2.5x breakeven. HoG barely crossed the 2x mark meaning it flopped. "the best box office opening for a drama film since Little Women in 2019" is serving the best streaming debut for a jazz album on Spotify, LMAO. Is the best opening in less than two years really a record when theaters were closed for more than a year of that duration? Regardless of it being the biggest drama etc etc, it still flopped. 2 3

Yeah sure, cause Harlequin definitely was released for mainstream success. Good Morning, Get Happy and pretty much the rest of the album were definitely made for Tiktok and Gen Z. Cover albums have been smashing left and right too. Agree? OT: Like Grace, the OGH can't get enough of her too it seems Edited October 1 by Ethereaaal

The past decade of Lady GaGa's career has been artificially kept afloat with industry support despite it bringing in NO MONEY. With FAD and Harlequin BOMBING, they are going to finally pull the plug and no amount of schmoozing will save her. 1 2

I don't think you know how this works if you believe a movie that grosses twice as much as its budget is a hit. Specially considering 100M of those 150M were from outside of the USA where studios make less money than the domestic box office. That said...it's not Gaga's fault or the movie. It came out during thise tough years and it actually did decent for the market...but not enough to break even on box office alone. Also not enough to destroy Gaga's movie career.
єѕℓαм Posted October 1 Posted October 1 All the reviews i've been reading either praised Gaga's acting or wanted to see more of her

Amaranth Posted October 1 Posted October 1 They're protecting her. She got cut in the editing room for her lack of acting skills I fear. Still I hope it does well! 1 3
