A person with a brain and knows how to use google wouldn't be asking that question because HoG actually did pretty well for an adult drama during the pandemic era. Reviews also say she was the movie's saving grace. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, it did not gross 3x its budget (or even 2.75x its budget), meaning it's a flop.

Guess that 40% wasn't enough because it still flopped. Almost as if there is no demand for a Lady Gaga movie.
