VerdantHue Posted October 1 Posted October 1 A career in music is finite. Cher had her heydays and she is from a different generation. Doesn't make her less of, it's just how time moves on.
P.O.P Posted October 1 Posted October 1 That picture tho, whew. Showing how to do a black & white motorcycle pic with taste and elegance. 2
savedthemixtape Posted October 1 Posted October 1 In all fairness she hasn't had a greatest hits release on vinyl since 1992 so it was nice to have these tracks remastered in one place on an LP set.
descg Posted October 1 Posted October 1 What happen? A greates hits in the 2024 stream era from a 6 decades career singer. Are u asking seriusly?

Burn Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Well I liked the release and used the album. Yes she already has GH albums but this one includes more recent songs like Woman's World, the ABBA covers and DJ Play A Christmas Song, so that was the main reason for me. 1
prettyinpink940 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 This is like her 30th greatest hits album and she's +50 years into her career. What did people expect? 1

This topic is started with the facts I'm not saying she sold a lot. I'm just explaining why it still makes sense for Cher to releases GH albums in the streaming era. Because her demo still buys albums over streaming her music.
Bussea Posted October 2 Posted October 2 most of her fans have passed away and no one knew she released a new album 1
Tylerbv Posted October 2 Posted October 2 No promotion and GHs are dead. It's impressive it charted at all. She has longevity literally all of our faves can only dream of, so leave a legend alone. 4
Maroonx Posted October 2 Posted October 2 she's got like 10 greatest hits album, so there was no need for this... also in this streaming day and age, nobody cares for them x
poki Posted October 2 Posted October 2 This one has already sold 5m+ world wide by now and personally I think is Cher's best album cover. 1

I enjoyed the better quality of these. She has more flop songs/albums than hits in actuality so its not surprising.

They are like playlists... that is why 75% of all music albums on the albums charts are compilation albums... (well in the UK that is). 1
blueberries Posted October 3 Posted October 3 (edited) she has so many GHs no one is excited for this only her die hard fans bought as a collector's item Edited October 3 by blueberries
