KKCuteCat Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Because you mistakenly count MLJ as her song when it's not. Her real #1 song has less than 100k average of daily stream 1 1

The smart asses downvoting me really think S&M or 3 or Hold It Against Me are Britney's biggest songs? Only because they were #1 for one or two weeks more than a decade ago? A #1 without longevity is not a hit at all, that's why this thread is stupid. Edited October 4 by ChooseyLover

Maroon 5 scored two more #1s after MLJ and Christina has had ZERO, so clearly not. Maroon 5 revived her dying career for a bit and she and her stans should be grateful for that. 3
dumbsparce Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Legend X All it took for ppl under the age of 27 to become aware of her existence was to colab with someone who currently has the #1 album and 3 (solo) top 10s on Billboard 1

Mh, obviously she was irrelevant in the music charts, but let's not assume she wasn't on the most popular TV show of the moment, and the song was a hit purely based on that. Maroon 5 revived their careers with that hit. We all can sit and discuss if the song could be a hit with another singer (like Rihanna or Taylor), but the fact is it was a hit produced by a hit TV show where the two main singers were the face of said TV show. I would expect more support from the gays to the pop girls, but seeing the responses here for Moves Like Jagger and Die With A Smile is just another proof that a gay fan prefers a quick "funny drag" to a female than to support her... But refusing factual truths. They prefer to call "legend" a random man like Bruno Mars or Adam Levine, just to do the "quick drag". Speechless tbh. 1

After 2006's chart-topping Back to Basics, the hits dried up pretty fast: Aguilera never released another totally successful album, and her only major pop successes of the last 15 years have come as features. https://www.billboard.com/lists/best-pop-stars-21st-century-honorable-mentions/christina-aguilera-8/ I am afraid that Billboard spoke loud and clear. I am preparing the "Britney appears on Billboard's Greatest Pop Stars list while Xtina does not, why?" 3

Why would we call anyone a "legend" if they're not deserving of the title? lmao Also, I haven't seen anyone on atrl claiming those men are legends. And if they do, it is solely to tease the fans of the pop girl. It's not that serious. At all. We all love and listen to the girls we grew up with to various degrees.

Biggest Songs in Terms of Album Equivalents: 1. Baby One More Time - 18,640,000 2. Moves Like Jagger - 5,390,000 [including all material, 3,310,000 if only Christina] 3. Womanizer - 3,220,000 MLJ isn't even a third of the size of BOMT and it's not even Christina's biggest song - GIAB is. 1
Baegalme Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Are we surprised ? Beyoncé 's streaming numbers are so bad and I would argue it's because the current generation doesn't really care about her music
