Bewitched Posted September 29 Posted September 29 She did great but the entire stage, back up dancer outfits, and her outfit are ugly to me or maybe I'm bias cause I hate the color orange She did amazing tho. Always knows how to give us a show!
Bewitched Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) Also so confused by these comments downplaying Katy's popularity in Australia like didn't she add more shows for the Australia leg of The Lifetimes Tour due to popular demand? Edited September 29 by Bewitched 3 1
Sergi91 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I love the set list! I was a bit worried about this being at an open roof stadium in daytime but it turned out great! 1
Bubble Tea Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Just watched the show and it absolutely blew me away. The way the world is trying to discard and dispose of her and she is saying absolutely NOT and absolutely elevating her performance and live vocal game. Like i'm sorry to bring up this tired comparison but the most successful artist today, Taylor Swift, has never performed anything as impressive as what Katy has performed at the VMAs, Rock in Rio or at the AFL. 3

PREACH! LET ME ATTEND YOUR SUNDAY SISTA, CAUSE YOU ARE PREACHING NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!! #IKNOWTHATSRIGHT 1 1
chiliam Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Another great performance. She really know how to put on the show. But wish the setlist is more diverse and different compare to VMA. She can add Crush, Harley, NRO or Swish Swish to spice thing up 4
Punky Rooster Posted September 29 Posted September 29 3.52 million watched Katy's performance, highest audience for a pre show in over a decade This doesn't include streaming or people watching in public at pubs and clubs. 10

gloamingtheplain Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I watched this live and I love that the audience liked Lifetimes but the DEAD silence after Gorgeous killed me The silence was deafening.
Feanor Posted September 30 Posted September 30 She delivered, but wow, I felt like having a heat stroke by just watching this cause it looked hot af.
♚ PRiNCE HiGH ♚ Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Nowhere as good as her vmas thing. Everytime it panned to the audience they were laughing/silent 1
zoom202226 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) What a foolish thing to gauge overall audience reaction with a few "laughing/silent" faces from the crowd. Anyway, the tour tickets are selling out. I'd say it was a smart move to coincide rolling out the dates in Australia with the AFL performance. Edited October 1 by zoom202226
politeone Posted October 1 Posted October 1 This was excellent! What a performer! It's really hard to pull off a day show but she really did it! I even enjoyed Gorgeous for the first time, it's a whole new song now. I hope the tour is a success 1

PoisonPill Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Despite all the mess of this era... She's giving some of the best live performances of her career. If she keeps this up, she may be able to salvage her career as a legacy touring act. 1
alex_katycat Posted October 2 Posted October 2 streaming and sales of her catalog did great after this performance Only the Australian SUPERBOWL and miss Perry
