Katy Perry LIVE from the AFL Grand Final (Australian Superbowl)

I hate the fact that she keeps ignoring Witness and Smile. She's the one who keeps making them forgettable flop eras by ignoring their hits.

Both Chained and NRO were big enough hits to be part of medley and therefor you remind people that you have more than 2 albums.

Watching this performance after seeing her at VMAs and wondering when did she became such a great vocalist and performer? Like I don't remember her being good back in early 2010s??

But maybe I was falling for wrong narratives.

She slayed that completely. Although I wish she switched lifetimes to crush or all the love

Katy did great but that crowd was BORING af. The way middle aged and old people never have any fun :rip: Katy deserved a better crowd

so basically copy paste her original Superbowl but with cheaper production.

Both those albums have some of her best material too

Idk why but this performance really made me realise most of her songs are very childish...I cringed when she came in with Roar and the whole stadium is like straight middle age men with their wives..her music really did age badly. Her music career is really dead without 13-18 demographic from 15 years ago.

Say this to all thousands of people that have bought/will buy (myself included) tickets for her tour. Cut this nonsense pls:rip:

She's always been, but she's also improved even more. What you said is the clear proof that Katy has always been object of fake and defamatory narratives.

pretty nice performance

question though, why does the crowd sound so weird at times? it almost sounds like booing, and i know the performer at the champions league final usually gets booed because having a musical guest is a new thing and association football fans don't like it. is this the case with Australian rules football too?

obviously if there were boos it wasn't because of the quality of the performance because it was excellent

She always had the mpg sets and amazing stage designs

her voice during the TD/prism eras was a hot ass mess tho. She has improved so much as a live vocalist since the witness era :clap3:

You're right, but in realty her vocal ability has always been interesting, even at the beginning of her career in some performances she's showed great and impressive moments. In other words, there's always been a spark in her voice suggesting her potential as very good vocalist.

That was actually good! Would've been better during night time though.

I'm not a Katy stan, but this performance was great and she has been SERVING with her performances this era. :clap3: It's such a shame that this is wasted on such a flop era and all of the messiness surrounding it.

She did great! You can drag her all you want but she has hits for days knows how to put a great show, she's proved it twice this year.

The fact she managed to give us another "left shark" type of moment with Defatled Balloon! :jonnycat:

the only thing i hate about this (aside from the boring audience) is that it wasn't a night performance. Big shows with big productions like these deserve to be at night

Great performance

Say what you want about her recent music output but she is a good performer tbh and her vocals have improved immensely :clap3:

Good production value as usual from Katy but that's about it.

So she invited Tina Arena to perform the most atrocious song of the setlist (not to mention that she outsang Katy on her own song), the disrespect :deadbanana2:
