because trump will be so much better on palestine

I want yall to point to me where in Ethel's post (and Chappell's statements for that matter) she said people shouldn't vote for Harris/should vote for Trump.

Would Ethel rather us vote for the pro-Israel candidate who is pro-choice, pro-middle class, pro-LGBT, pro-affordable housing, pro-Medicare, pro-overtime pay, pro-affordable child care, pro-climate protection, pro-small businesses, pro-gun restrictions, and pro-veterans…or the pro-Israel candidate who is against all of those things and wants to turn America into a fascist dictatorship? She's correct that it's unfair and unreasonable to make Chappell (or any celebrity for that matter) endorse a candidate if they're not comfortable doing so, but to proudly encourage those to either vote third party or sit this election out is wishing for Trump to win.

She is a ******* idiot, always has been, and no amount of undeserved praise for her backwards beliefs or her Nicole Dollanganger off Temu ass music will negate her blatant stupidity. **** her.

Period 👏🏼

So is Caitlyn Jenner.

???

I was trying to point out your ridiculous statement that she "will be just fine under a trump presidency." What does Caitlyn Jenner have to do with anything?

I mean you'd certainly be much better off than her... :rip:

I never said as much. I'm just judging off her prior post that Biden should be assassinated. Hard to imagine she's voting for Harris after that.

Just toe the line and vote, this election is too important to care about morals.

If I had a dollar for each time I read "Trump is gonna be worse for Gaza!!!" :rip:

Baby, we are living in that "worse" that you speak of. Biden-Harris allowed hundreds of thousands of Gazans to be murdered and did nothing to stop it. If anything, they continue sending Israel more weapons to kill people in Palestine, Lebanon, etc and your fave candidate keeps saying that she's "unequivocal and unwavering in her commitment to Israel's defense and its ability to defend itself". You really don't see how disrespectful and pathetic you sound saying "it's bad, but Trump will be worse hehe"? Morons.

They're doing a really terrible job communicating their thoughts because they're young and have an activist mentality.

the reality is that this vote is mostly complicated for a lot of people and sometimes when you are an adult you have to make hard decisions.

but I wish they would have just shut up if they weren't going to endorse anyone. You can speak passionately about what you believe in and not endorse anyone.

And again if you don't believe that Trump will be even worse then let Trump win and you'll see 🤷

We know he will be because he has said he will be.

Nobody is saying that.... we are saying she should prioritize what directly affects her and a large portion of her fanbase.

I've never said anybody should ignore what's going on in Palestine, but the problem is many people (especially here on ATRL, and I say that because I'm not seeing this same passion for Palestine in the real world amongst even my most liberal, far left of friends) have made Palestine the divisive issue within the party where if you aren't stoning Harris then you're "blue maga" or whatever stupid insult du jour y'all come up with.

That's literally instructing her on what she needs to prioritize and is the inherent problem :rip:

If the fear is a Trump win you don't get to weaponize her privilege because there happens to not be an Arab-American singer popular in the U.S. with chart hits and millions of followers :rip:

If you don't like it, don't follow her :rip: She's clearly willing to take that hit :coffee2: Again none of this is relevant purely from a numbers standpoint. If she had the chance to legitimately sway things it'd be relevant.

Gen Z white women in battleground states that care about abortion as their top issue but also care about Gaza are  (anecdotally?) holding their nose for Kamala for the former and Chappell will have had ultimately nothing to do with changing that. All of this energy spent on her is thus pointless, unless at its root, there is an (unfounded) fear on the amount of sway she actually has.

I think you guys miss the whole point and why a lot of people don't buy the pro Palestine grandstanding people do online. It's always criticism for democrats that I hear from most of y'all, very little criticism of the right.

Both candidates are proud militant zionists and you're an especially moronic brand of MAGA if you don't keep up with their stances on the biggest issue in global politics but are yapping about your pro-trump views anyway.  :giraffe::heart:

Both support atrocities, one supports fewer atrocities than the other and is the CLEAR choice for anybody whose moral compass hasn't been irreparably ****** up by propaganda.

Im curios to know what their "worse" is as well. It literally couldn't be worse for the Palestinian people. They are being bombed, tortured, raped, starved and withheld basic hygine. Imagine every single human rights violation imaginable and its most likely occurring in Palestine right now.

Wbk Ethel is an idiot. Her fans attribute way more intelligence to her than she possesses & it's so bizarre to witness. She's very creative but have you seen her Goodreads account? Like go read another Eragon book, *****, this isn't the Middle Earth election. This girl doesn't know a goddamn thing, period

Christopher Paolini, author of Eragon right now:

I try to remember this too. They haven't experienced or matured enough to make adult decisions, particularly that coddled generation. I remember the days of thinking so black and white. Ignorance was a bliss.
