At this point if you don't understand what Chappell and now Ethel are saying than that says more about you than them; it's perfectly reasonable to express dissatisfaction with any candidate. These people are supposed to be working for us, and if the admin wanted Chappell's endorsement, she's made it quite clear what it would take for her. Nowhere did she try to dissuade people from not participating or voting (on the contrary, she stresses the importance of voting and mentions she is still voting for Kamala). Genocide is not this tiny issue you can sweep under the rug, and the way the Biden administration has LIED and cow towed to Israel despite the war crimes they are committing is shameful. This election is important, but my god we need to take our elected representatives to task for allowing this to carry on for as long as it did.
 

If you're mad at Chappell Roan, I shudder to think what some of y'all would have said when Sinead O'Conner was getting dragged to hell and back for her SNL performance. She's asking genuinely important questions and refusing to take this at face value. What is wrong with that exactly? And do not even try to say the proximity to the election is why; y'all are acting like this is some kind of October surprise level threat to Kamala's candidacy when the average person is not clued into this at all

Ethel is correct. The backlash Chappell has gotten from this on all levels is wholly unnecessary and says a lot about the people calling her out rather than her and others for pointing out the flaws in our politics and morals.
